We require a minimum of $50 deposit to give you a confirmed booking for your function.
Full payment must be made on the day of delivery in cash, or 3 days prior via bank transfer to ensure cleared funds.
Any notified changes must be made at least 28 days prior to the date of the event or as agreed.
Cancellation of your event must be made 60 days prior to the date of the event or as agreed. If you fail to cancel your booking before the agreed date, you will not be entitled to a refund of your deposit.
Booking deposits are non-refundable unless Slam’s Karaoke are unable to fulfill the service due to circumstances out of our control.
Paying a booking deposit for your event or function is a 100% binding guarantee of contract and your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
Any non-payment of a deposit allows us to take other bookings without prior notice.
It is the responsibility of the hirer and the venue to ensure that there is adequate provision of clean electrical power within ten metres of our set-up point.
We require a minimum of 2 x 10 amp outlets (normal power points) dedicated purely for our equipment.
Any damage caused to our equipment by and inadequate power supply or power interruption is the responsibility of the hirer; the hirer/client is fully responsible for any damage caused to the equipment caused by the use of noise limiters and the subsequent cut off and reintroduction of power without our consultation.
In the event of an outdoor event, it is the hirers’ responsibility to ensure the equipment has cover from the sun and rain.
All bookings should be taken on the understanding that the venue is in possession of the necessary entertainment and liquor licenses. We are not responsible if the venue is found to be in breach of the terms of their license.
We will not be liable for non-fulfilment of this contract as a result of the venue management’s requests and directions, however every reasonable precaution will be taken.
In the event of the client seeking compensation, we will not be liable under any such claim.
The hirer is responsible for any damage to our equipment caused by any person at your event. You will be charged for the full cost of any repairs / replacement and expenses incurred during the repair period.
You will be advised of any damage as soon as it is caused and notified of the repair cost as soon as possible.
We require access to the installation area a minimum of one hour prior to our start time and one hour allowance at the end of the night to pack up. This time can be reduced if access is good and we are familiar with the venue.
Please consider the amount of space available and where you are going to place the unit including karaoke singer spot and the decided dance area. Equipment location is usually best if it is no greater than 10-15 metres away. However the unit must also not be located directly where there will be high party traffic and vigorous dancing which could cause damage to party guests and the hired equipment.
We reserve the right to substitute alternative entertainment should uncontrollable circumstances dictate the need to do so.
Absolutely no liquids or fire hazards are to be placed on the equipment provided before, during and after the performance.
Lights are electrical items must not be touched by clients and guests for safety reasons. The client may be held accountable if damage is caused by guests touching the equipment.
A wireless microphone is supplied for speeches and karaoke only, any damage caused by ‘drop the mike’ actions will be invoiced in full.
We will not be responsible for any damage or loss to private or public property caused by invited or uninvited guests.
All equipment used is checked prior to arrival and has been fully tested for safety by a qualified electrician.
The hirer is liable if post inspections prove that damage has been caused by faulty equipment other than ours.
We reserve the right to alter any or all of the above terms and conditions at any time. Adequate notice will be provided to clients who have already booked our services.
The terms and conditions take effect as soon as the client is informed that their booking status is “confirmed” and the agreed deposit has been paid.
If the client has issues with any of the items in the terms and conditions, please contact us immediately otherwise we assume that the client has read, acknowledged and agreed to all the terms and conditions as stated.
A delivery/pick up charge of $1 per KM over the free 20km radius (one way) will be applicable and payable on the day of hire.
Hire duration is 24 hours unless stated elsewhere.
